Natalia Papanicolaou


Natalia Papanicolaou is registered with the Athens Bar Association and combines experience in legal consultancy as well as in court litigation in the areas of Criminal Law (”white collar” crimes and common criminal offenses, Sentence Application issues), Commercial Law ( company and branch constitution and dissolution, companies listed on the Stock Exchange) and Administrative Law (actions before administrative courts against decisions taken by public entities).

She works in English, German, Italian and Greek.

Working Experience

Her legal training, as a trainee lawyer and her legal practice, as an associate, in various law offices (G. Papaioannou and Partners and I. Sofos and Partners), was mainly oriented towards the handling of Criminal Law cases.

Education /Articles for Law Reviews

She has a Law Degree of the Greek National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and an LLM in Penal Law and Criminology. She is preparing a PhD thesis in Criminal Law.

As a student she collaborated, as a researcher in both criminal law and criminology fields, with the Criminal Legal Science Department of the University of Athens during the academic years 2004-2005, 2005-2006 and 2006-2007; She was also a member of the Criminal Law and Criminology Lab of the University of Athens ( February 2000 - February 2007).

She has participated in various researches and contributes in the writing of articles for various law reviews.
